1. The assistant uses artificial intelligence

The chat assistant inside this portal provides general information about Florida Lemon Law and bankruptcy concepts. Its answers are generated with artificial intelligence, or drawn from a pre-written knowledge base when AI is unavailable. It is a tool for orientation and education, not a person and not a lawyer.

2. It is not legal advice

Nothing the assistant says is legal advice, and talking to it does not create an attorney-client relationship. The assistant cannot evaluate the full facts of your situation, weigh strategy, or apply the law to your specific circumstances the way a licensed attorney can.

3. It may be inaccurate

AI-generated answers can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date, even when they sound confident. Laws change, and the assistant's general explanations may not match the current rule that applies to you. Treat every answer as a starting point to verify with the firm, not as a final statement of the law.

4. How your conversations are processed

When live AI chat is enabled, your messages are sent to an AI provider (Anthropic) to generate a response. Do not type anything into the chat that you would not share with a service provider, such as full account numbers or Social Security numbers. The intake forms and document vault are the right place for sensitive records, not the chat box.

5. An attorney reviews every case

No case is accepted, declined, or filed by AI. Rafael Recalde, Esq. personally reviews every intake before the firm decides whether to accept a case. The AI assistant and the qualification questionnaire only help organize information for that human review.

6. Never rely on AI for deadlines

Legal deadlines are unforgiving, and missing one can permanently end a claim. Do not rely on any date the assistant mentions, or on the portal's estimated deadline calendar, without confirming it directly with the firm. Only a deadline confirmed by the firm in writing should be treated as real.

7. Questions

If anything the assistant tells you seems important to your decision-making, call the firm and confirm it first: Recalde Law Firm, P.A., (305) 792-9100.
